Outreach

Looking for speakers to address your club? The tall ship offers a choice of 2 illustrated talks. Voluntary speakers address a wide range of adult groups and clubs across Scotland.

S.V. Glenlee

Discover the past, present and future of this late nineteenth century sailing vessel, one of only five remaining Clydebuilt sailing ships still afloat anywhere in the world. The Glenlee adapted in a changing world of technology, surviving two world wars, several hurricanes, and in her later years, the scrap yard. After almost a century of service, the abandoned hulk was purchased by the Clyde Maritime Trust in 1992 and restored to her former glory.

Clutha

Delve into the history of life on the River Clyde. From the early engineering feats of the first bridge constructions to the forgotten past of travelling around Glasgow Harbour on the Clutha riverboats.
