Self-Guided Tour

Hunt for Jock the Cat

£1 per child (approx 60 mins)

Collect a ‘Jock the Cat Story Sack’ from Reception and make your way to the Pre 5 area located in the Lower Gallery. This area can be used for snacks and a self-led storytelling session. The sack contains sets of Matching Cards which can be used by the children to explore S.V. Glenlee while hunting for Jock the Cat and his friends. The children can collect a small reward from Reception before leaving The Tall Ship.

Workshop

Buried Treasure!

£30 per session (approx 45 mins, max 16 children)

Children hear tales of swashbuckling pirates in an interactive storytelling session led by one of our education team. They then dig for buried treasure in ‘desert island’ sand trays before sorting and counting their loot! Children (and leaders!) are encouraged to come along dressed up!

Happy Harminis offers a fun and memorable learning experience that fully supports the Curriculum for Excellence.

Through music and movement, using instruments and props, children discover their confidence and build self esteem, as they are encouraged to sing, dance and join in the fun.
